When running a maintenance plan to backup just the database it returns an error stating the job failed. The database was actually backed up and verified, there is a new backup file in the specified directory. The error occurs when it is trying to insert a row into the sysdbmaintplan_history table.
The error received is:
Msg 515, Sev 16: Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'server_name', table 'msdb.dbo.sysdbmaintplan_history'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails. [SQLSTATE 23000]

I am able to manually insert a row into the table and it uses the default value when nothing is specified for 'server_name'.

Can anyone tell me where the call to write to the history table is so I can verify the syntax? Maybe it was somehow changed.

I am currently using SQL LiteSpeed. I am using it on other boxes without any problems. Just the one box giving the error. Running 2000 on XP with latest SP installed.

Thanks in advance from a very confused,
