    Question Unanswered: Error - Item in list box

    Hi
    When I type something that is not a item in the list box I get the message "The text you enter is not a item in the list…:" That's OK.
    On the Event "On Not in list" I send the user a message what to do, and reset the list box to null. But still the message "The text you enter…." appears, even in my runtime version of the application.
    Can anyone please tell me how to avoid this message?

    thanks

    Cool Trap it in the textchange

    just do somthing like this

    in the txtChange sub set
    On error resume next

    then at the end set the error.num to 0

    Err = 0

    and you allready have trapped the rest off the prob

    Thumbs down Does "txtChange " exist in Access ?

    Hi Marvels

    Does "txtChange" exist as an event option in Access ?
    I can't find it.
    But I tried your proposal in the "On Change" and "On Not in List"
    Unfortunately it did not function. Any other proposals ?
