Unanswered: MySQL and Access2k Action Queries
I am trying to port an application from an Access2k front/back end, to an Access2k front end / MySQL back end.
For speed, I am using pass through queries to populate forms. Then I am using SQL INSERT or UPDATE statements to add or edit data. These statements are written against the ODBC linked table in the Access native mode of DAO.Recordsets or DAO.QueryDefs, only because I have not been able to find a way to pass these statements directly to MySQL.
How can I do this, and also take advantage of MySQL's other built in features from within my app?
