Unanswered: Ignore columns using bcp out

Any idea how to ignore columns when you do a bcp out

And what the HELL do you do with text and image data?

The physical order of data in a database has no meaning.

    Use This:
    'bcp "select a,b,c,d from tbl_name" queryout \\ServerName\folder\file.txt -c -SServerName -U -P -E'

    Thanks for the info....

Gotta set this up dynamically so I can go against 700+ tables..

    Basically the whole database

EDIT: OK, read the -n thing...native data types..

Gonna be a problem sending that up to the mainframe...

Looks like queryout...now to change the format file generator, and the bcp generator sprocs...

    looks like no choice...
