Unanswered: ODBC Setup - Port #?

I'm trying to setup a remote ODBC to connect to our server. One of the prompts is for the Port #. How do you determine the port number?

I'm using DB2 8.1 on Windows XP on the client and DB2 7.2 on the Server.

Re: ODBC Setup - Port #?

db2 get dbm cfg | find "SVCENAME"

See the value against the parm ..
If it indicates a port number that is it ..
If it indicates a service name, then cross check with the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\services for the portnumber corresponding to the service

    Cheers
