    Unanswered: Export to Excel

    Hi

I have a Access 2k database which is exporting to Excel from an Access query using docmd.transferspreadsheet.

There are roughtly 50k records that should be exported but the export seems to stop without generating any error at around 16k.

Ive chekced the data and there is no corruption in the data that may be causing the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this, are there limits to the ammount of data this command can deal with?

    thanks

    Question

Before you make your Export, put the date in a table, then split the this table into 2 tables or more , then make your export for each spllited table

    Perhaps

Never heard of that before. I wonder if it has to do with the amount of free memory on your PC...
