Unanswered: [ORA9i,WIN2K] export using an external user (OPS$)

    Hello,

    A small question...
Can I export using an OPS$ user?

I want a batch file (win2000) that holds an export command, but I DON't want the password to be visible in that file.

So I run the batch file as 'AT_ACCOUNT', while the OPS$AT_ACCOUNT has dba rights.

Normally when I run sqlplus, I can use 'sqlplus / as sysdba ...'
He will use the OPS$AT_ACCOUNT then...

Can I use something similar on export??

    Tnx!
    Gert

    Should work.
Make sure that the OPS$ has dba, which I think you said it did, and log in as batch job privs.

    'Export at_account@database name FULL=Y' ?

    Tnx
    Gert
