Unhappy Unanswered: Combo Box Not Retaining Selection

Access 2000 running on Windows 2000 Pro.

    Seperate front-end / back-end

I have just installed one of my apps. on a Windows 2000 machine
    (Office was already installed)

Fully patched version of Office and Windows

Strangely (Works fine on other machines of same setup) one of my combo boxes is not retaining the selected value.

Has anyone come accross this behaviour before?

There are no missing references and the app works on all other machines of the same spec. Leads me to think there may be some corruption within the Office instalation on that machine.

    Anyone shed any light?

Do not take this like a "Biblia" but Windows 2000 and Access 2000
have problem, is better to use Access 97, Access 2002 or Access XP.

    Unhappy Any more input?

Are their any specific issues related to Windows 2000 and Access 2000

I started the following thread after a corruption...

    http://www.dbforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=926758

...I had a sneaky feeling at the time it may have been a compatibility issue - The machine that caused it runs Win 2000...

Am I going to have to change all the Win 2000 O/Ss?

Is it only a problem when user is changing data?

    Any input welcomed.
