Unanswered: Access 2k and MySQL - Action Queries
I am trying to port an application from an Access2k front/back end, to an Access2k front end / MySQL back end.
For speed, I am using pass through queries to populate forms. Then I am using SQL INSERT or UPDATE statements to add or edit data. These statements are written against the ODBC linked table in the Access native mode using DAO.QueryDefs, only because I have not been able to find a way to pass these statements directly to MySQL.
Does anyone know how I can do this, and also take advantage of MySQL's other built in features from within my app? I am guessing that what would work for Oracle, SqlServer, etc would work for MySQL.
