    Question Unanswered: Help

    Im a novice in ms access
    I need someone to clarify my doubt;
    Is there any standard alphabetical or numerical initials insertion infront or behind an Identification No, For e.g Identification no; S1234567F. Or just choose 'Text' for Data Type will do.
    Seriously, there is this thing but I do not know it, so I need help from u guys.

    Yes, choose "Text" as datatype and you'll be okay. If you have fixed pattern for ids then you can also force people to follow that pattern using "Masks". Its one of the properties when you open a table in design view.
