Unanswered: OpenQuery in macro upsized SQL database

    Hello,

recently I upsized my database to SQL in Access 2002 (MSDE2000). When I want to create a macro with the OpenQuery command and then try to select a query, this field is empty. How is this possible, do I need to convert the queries in a specific way?

Do the queries you wish to select appear in the "queries" section of the db window? And what did you mean by "upsized to SQL"? Do you mean you upgraded to MS SQL Server?

I upgraded to the Microsoft SQL Dekstop Engine. The queries are indeed mentioned in the query-section. I found out that I need to use OpenFunction (instead of OpenQuery) in a macro, but then I only see the regular queries and not append queries etc. Is there a way to open these other queries by creating a macro?
