    Unanswered: unused as column name

    hello,

when i do a select on systemtable syscolumn
i won't see a column "check", instead of "check" it says unused2.
Does anyone know how i can see "check" instead of unused2?

    thanks

    Hi,

What's the result of sp_help tablename?
Does it show the correct column name?

    Regards,
    Ulrike

    You are right!!!

I can't explain why the column is changed. Check used to check for defaults in previous versions. I can't find anything in the documentation that details this change.

Perhaps you will get a better response from Sybase Support or from ianywhere newsgroups.
