    Unanswered: Stored procedure debugging

Does anyone know of any tools for debugging sybase stored procedures. I'm used to Microsofts, query anlayzer with built in debugging and other nice features. But working with syabase now I feel like ive been a bit spoiled!

    Hi there

If you are using ASE 12.5 on NT there is a utility called
"sqldbgr" , check out in $SYBASE/$SYBASE_ASE/bin/sqldbgr.bat

read utility documentation BEFORE using it on production severs

    hope this helps

There are actually two debuggers available with ASE:

The before mentioned commandline tool: sqldbgr
    And a debugging GUI: jdebug

sqldbgr resides in your ASE bin directory whil ejdebug is in $SYBASE/ASE-12_5/debugger.
