    Unanswered: Syntax Question

    Hi,

Im trying to update text in my table (MSSQL) , a sample record is 'uedaroo6810'
and I want to update the last four characters of every record that matches that one with 0168 ( instead of 6810 ) How can I replace just parts of the record like that?
    Thanks! -

    maybe this will help...

    update <your table>
    set <your column> = replace(<your column>,'6810','0168')
    where <your column> like '%6810'
