Unhappy Unanswered: ODBC connection timeout ?

    I got a serious problem...

We have an Oracle 8.1.6 running on Tru64 Unix Cluster environment. Yesterday I reboot the server, and since then, I can't use odbc to connect my oracle database.

I've done some config modification before the boot (editing tnsnames.ora mostly). After the database start up, I can connect to Oracle and select some data with sqlplus, both locally or remotely. That should means that the oracle listener is working fine. But when I try to connect the database by Oracle ODBC, it just hanged, after some time, it will appear a error message "ORA-01013", which means connection timeout.

Does anybody have any idea about this problem ? I don't know what's going wrong with ODBC and ORACLE. I can always retrieve data in ORACLE by ODBC connection before.

    Thanks for any reply.

    Scottie.
