    Unanswered: User-defined functions And owner

I'm migrating my program from SQL Anywhere to SQL Server.

To have less modifications to do on my queries
I've created some user-functions in SQL Server
that existed in Anywhere but not in SQL Server like
    Truncnum, Trim, ...

    Here's a very simple example :

    In SQL Anywhere :
    ----------------------

    Select Trim(Name)
    From PERSONS

    In SQL Server :
    ------------------
    CREATE FUNCTION dbo.Trim (@Word varchar)
    RETURNS varchar AS
    BEGIN
    return(Rtrim(Ltrim(@Word)))
    END

    Select dbo.Trim(Name)
    From PERSONS

Do I REALLY have to always add the user-function owner
in front of function's name ?
