    Unanswered: Check users?

We have our Intranet setup using DB2 v7.2 fixpack9. Is there a way to write a script that can check what users are accessing a certain application inside our Intranet. Another words, we need to get a list of users that access this certain application so we can upgrade their machines that fixes a bug. Thanks in advance.

    Re: Check users?

    Hi,

don't know if I got you right, but you can check if

    db2 list applications show detail

is any help to determining the application that works with DB2. If it is, you can try to get the application info from either snapshots or, better, from a DB2 connection monitor. As I never tried to achieve the requested feat, you are on your own to find out if the application element is part of an event monitor. Anyway, you may want to read up on monitoring DB2.
