Is this the code the wizard generated?

    On Error GoTo Err_Command41_Click

    DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acRecordsMenu, acSaveRecord, , acMenuVer70

    Exit_Command41_Click:
    Exit Sub

    Err_Command41_Click:
    MsgBox Err.Description
    Resume Exit_Command41_Click

Do you get an error when you manually go to the Records menu and select Save Record?

    hi,

the code is correct but what do u mean by
"manually go to the Records menu and select Save Record?"

i got the error msg prompt when i click on the save button on my form.
    i have attached the db.

can i ask, what did i do to make the main form fields uneditable???
    how can i edit them???
