Unanswered: Is it possible to change the password (from Forms 6i) when the same is expired?

    Hello,

I am running a Oracle Forms 6i application and I want to implement our company's password policy for passwords. Like SQL*PLUS, will Forms allow us to change the password when the password is expired at the time of login? Please let me know your inputs.

    Thanks,
    Ranjith

forms uses the same username and password for the user, whether or not it's done through SQL*PLus, or forms... i'm not sure if it will prompt you for a new password, or if you will have to log in as DBA and update it through SQL*Plus, it also depends on the policy, have you asked your DBA?
