    hi ,
I don't think JDBC comes with CSDK

JDBC driver is bundled with IDS 9.4 .

You can always download latest JDBC driver from
    http://www-3.ibm.com/software/data/informix/tools/jdbc/

The JDBC Programmers manual is at
    http://publibfi.boulder.ibm.com/epubs/pdf/ct1utna.pdf

There are no special settings as such as to be able to conenct using JDBC.
(On a side note , JDBC driver does not support shared memory connections , but that shouldn't be issue as you are on windows )

on your sever machine , make sure you add entry to C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\services
    for the port number .

If you want to play with JDBC without having to write Java code ,
you can use winSQL lite for JDBC available for free download
    from
    http://www.indus-soft.com/Synametric...thDownload.jsp
