    Unanswered: Restoring Table from last nights backup

    I have a table in Oracle 8.1 that was accidentally truncated and need sto be populated back form last nights backup.
    Can I do it without dropping that table,
    also if I have to drop the table, if I import it back will alll the constraints be recovered too.

    Here is the command I am planning to use.

    imp user(where data is imported)/pwd (where data is imported) TABLES=tablename rows=y
    file=expincr1.dmp

    Thanks

    yes.
    user IGNORE=Y - so the error at create table will not abort the IMPort.

    One more question.

    Is this command correct

    imp user(where data is imported)/pwd (where data is imported) TABLES=tablename rows=y IGNORE=y file=expincr1.dmp

    Thanks
