Unanswered: Upgraded SQL Server 7 to 2000

    Hello everyone,

I currently upgraded a server from Win NT to 2000 and upgraded SQL 7 to 2000. Now my web application is encountering a lot deadlocks.

"Transaction (Process ID 66) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction."

The code and stored procedures are the same. Haven't been changed at all. What's going on? Sometimes the query is fast then other times it's really slow.

    Anyone, please help!!!

Did you look in the error log to see what resource caused the deadlock?

    Look up

    Detecting and Ending Deadlocks
    in books online....very helpful....

You can also run a trace to see what's going on...
