    Unanswered: Selecting from current row all the way to row 6 in current colm

    I am at row # i would like to select from this row up to row 7 of the current column how can i do this??

    I tried Range(selection,selection.end(xlup)).select
    but this wont work if there is a blank cell in the range

    Try this:

    Sub MyCellSelect()
    Dim myRow As Integer
    ' The row Number is your current active cell (identified by you as i)
    myRow = InputBox("Type in Row Number")

    Range("C7:C" & myRow).Select
    End Sub
    old, slow, and confused
    but at least I'm inconsistent!
