    Unanswered: DB2 <- Oracle tools

    Hi all,

I am looking for any tools that will convert an Oracle create script to DB2.

Essentially I am trying to connect MS Project via an ODBC link to DB2 - which should connect and create its own tables, but its generating errors and falling over. Oracle and MSSql seem to work fine..

Try installing the DB2 client on your machine (free) and then using the IBM DB2 odbc driver that comes with it.

Yes, thanks for that. I have tried that already, and I can confirm that using the IBM DB2 driver rather than the MS DB2 driver works - well at least I get a connection to the database.

MS Project just hangs when trying to create the tables, hence my request for any tools for db conversion.
I am 'edging my bets' that if the tables indexes etc are created correctly then MS Project may actually be able to save to the db :-)

    Thanks in advance..
