    Unanswered: installing ODBC drivers for Oracle

    Hi everyone!, i have a problem, when i start to install the ODBC drivers for oracle running the Oracle Universal Installer a message appears saying something like: error while loading the library: areasQueries twice and the third message is about loading the library: WindowsGeneralQueries, If someone can help me i'd appreciate it, thanks.

    it is always a good idea to provide version# ...

    the odbc driver needs to be installed though orainstaller and the staging area.
    They unpack only 3 files. sqora32.dll, sqora32s.dll, and oraresus.dll

    if you have these 3 files you can clone registry entries and tunnel the odbc setup ...

    i could solve the problem you gave me the answer not directly but it gave me a big hint, what i should do is to take into account the destiny path in the Oracle Universal Installer, because I found out that in that path the files that were failing to be loaded are, so i just indicated the path of where i had installed the OUI.



    Oh yeah and the versions are: Oracle 9i and the drivers: 9.2.0.5.4
