    Question Unanswered: Visible and nonprintable text box in report

    I have a text box in my report, for which I want it to be visible in print preview mode of this report, but must not be printed on paper. The property of that text box would be the same as hidden property of fields in Word; you can see it on screen but not on paper.

    Can it be done in Access also and if answer is yes, how?

    In Access the Visible property in a Report don't work like in Word.
    You must set the Visible Property of text box to True or False by a code depending if you do Preview of your Report or you Print your Report.

    Talking Re: Visible and nonprintable text box in report

    I have figured it out;

    On [On Page] event of Report:

    Private Sub Report_Page()
    txtTextBox.Visible = False
    End Sub

    Thx anyway.
