    Unanswered: tablespaces

    Hello there,

We are with a lot of programmers, but no one has enough enough knowledge about tablespaces. Our database is 10 mb under sybase and 30 mb under sqlserver. what should be a good size of our oracle database. These are the sizes in megabytes of some table_spaces of our oracle-database(which is in use for a few days yet, by 2 persons) :

    system 250
    temp 4000
    undo 250
    users 50
    redo 250
    redo 250
    redo 250

Can anyone tell me what is good about it and not. Why is the temp tablespace so big. First I created the database with a non-seeded template. After that a run scripts to put in tables, data, functions, stored procedures, etcetera.
