    Red face Unanswered: Oracle error PLS-00201-Urgent

    I created an Oracle Package by logging into database as user1.When I try to call a procedure from the package by using another user (User2),I get an error message Oracle error: Code is 6550. PLS-00201 Identifier "procedure name" must be declared.I referred the oracle manuals and granted Execute Privilege for the user (user2).Still I get the same error.

    Can anybody please help on this?

    Create a public synonym for the procedure.

    does the user have the privilege?

    GRANT EXECUTE ANY PROCEDURE TO "user_name";

    or

    GRANT EXECUTE ANY TYPE TO "user_name";
