Unanswered: Like referencing data in fields

    Hi,

Is it possible to use the LIKE comparison using data which is in existing fields?

    For example

    Select *
    From Table1, Table2
    Where Table1.Field1 LIKE Table2.Field1 + '%'

Am I making sense with this? If I am and it is not possible, what would be the best way to handle something like this?

    Thanks in advance.

And I would be concerned about the potential for products since no unique join is being made.
