    Unanswered: Run Delete Query without Message Notifications

    Hello,
    in my VB I run docmd.openquery "delete..."
    That works great but since I'm running 5 delete queries the user is overwhelmed by the "You are about to delete 3 records, blah blah blah" message. Is there a way to temporarily disable the message notification?

    I used to do it in Excel VBA by Application.DisplayAlerts = False but can't do it in Access. Any help is welcomed. THANK YOU

    docmd.setwarnings false
    <run the queries>
    docmd.setwarnings true

    I don't know of a way using VBA. I think you have to set this in the user's Database option - Edit/Find - Confirm, just unclick the Action Queries radio button. That's how I do it for my databases anyway. It would be great if you can control it using VBA.
