Question Unanswered: Criteria expression in select query.

Can anyone advise me on the correct criteria expression in a select query to specify only the second column from a form control?

In other words...........I have a list box on a form that displays employee name (visible) and a second column with their ID. I want to specify that second column in the criteria expression of my select query but not the first. The expression being [Forms]![Form name]![Control name].

    [Forms]![Form name]![Control name].Column(1) for the second column

The other option is to have the value you actually want to use in column 0, have a two column listbox and make the column widths 0";5"
All code ADO/ADOX unless otherwise specified.
