my web application is running on an Oracle database, but one of my table have to reflect datas stored on a distant MS Access database, is it possible to create a table or view in oracle that automaticly or periodicly reflects (copy?) date coming from a MS Access database ?

I do not know about something like a 'transparent Gateway for MS-ACCESS', but maybe you will crete a csv-file and use the EXTERNAL_TABLE feature of sqlldr?

You better write a service in VB or VC to transfer the data periodically.

To the best of my knowledge there is no ready made technology to achieve this.

in VB.NET, services can be readily written.
If u write it in VB6.0 and lower, there is a tool which converts the exe into a service.
Just search in google for that tool.

    Hope this helps you
