Unanswered: how to config a Stored Procedure to be run in a new seperated Transaction.

Does anyone knows how to config a Stored Procedure to be run in a new, seperated Transaction (Work of Unit) of its own?

Oracle has a 'PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION' statement to define this kind of behaviour. Is there is such a statement in DB2 now?

    Thanks.

    Hi Xun_Zhang

Co-incidentally, your question is similar to the one I posted yesterday regarding 'AUTONOMOUS commits and ROLLBACKS'? We are really asking almost the same question. Although my question is exploring any sort of autonomous method with or without a stored procedure.
So we should follow each other's threads.
