We upgraded our production during last week from oracle 8i to 9i (188.8.131.52). We have many dbms jobs and they are failing after the upgrade. Our DBA mentioned that there are no known issues for the 8i to 9i upgrade for this to happen. But since we did not have any production changes during this time upgrade could be the most likely reason for this. Please find the error message

I think the error may be happening in exception handling.
This error arises becuse a failure during a distributed update operation may not have rolled back all effects of the operation. Since some sites may be inconsistent with others, the transaction must roll back to a savepoint or roll back entirely.
