I am trying to sum a time field on a report which comes from a table.
When I do a break down of the individual times it shows:

0.30
1.30
0.15

But when I go to sum this field on the report the total time shows:

Obviously, it is not calculating these values as times, so how do I format it so that it does?

## finaly i've got it

What you have to do is the following

First calc the value before your dot (.)
this will be the Hours (for now !!!)
so

0.30
1.30
0.15
H=1

Now sum the value after the dot
if this is higher then or = 60
you have to devid it by 60
so M = 75 / 60 =1,25

Add the hole number to the hours
if this give you an point (see up )
multiply 0,25 by 60 this will give 15

so your total time will be 2.15 hours

How you want to do this is up to you (code or SQL)
