    How coud I reset the value of a static value to zero or remove it from the memory?

    During runtime? You can't. Even C++ which "allows" you to really doesn't (believe me I tried)...

    I'm sorry ... Static: Keeps it's value thru multiple iterations ... Yes. you can reset a static variable ... MY brainfart was with a CONSTANT variable ...
