    Unanswered: Editting with SQL

I am using SQL statements to modify a new database that I just created from another database. I want to use SQL to replace one field of one record of a table in the new database with a different value.

So the Table has an ID, ItemNumber, ItemText, Command, Argument
I want to replace the Argument of the second Record with something else.

    Please help!

Well if it is only One FIeld of One record... go into the table an manully change it.

Other wise create an update query which will let you specify what you want the change the field to, and specify criteria as to which record needs changed

I can't just manual change it because the user will be creating the new database over and over again.

An example of the Update statement would look like?
