    Question Unanswered: Oracle Pro*C/C++ Precompiler

    Hi,
    I have installed Oracle 9i (Personal). I am looking for Oracle Pro*C/C++ Precompiler. I have been told that the precompiler comes with this version. There are bunch of EXE files in the Oracle folder, but I don't know which one is the precompiler. I am using Windows NT version of Oracle. Could someone help me?
    Thanks

    Re: Oracle Pro*C/C++ Precompiler

    Hallo
    To precompile a file at the command prompt, enter the following command:
    C:\> proc iname=filename.pc
    where filename.pc is the name of the file. If the file is not in your current
    working directory, include the file's full path after the INAME argument.
    Pro*C/C++ generates filename.c, which can be compiled by your C compiler.

    However if you link to http://tahiti.oracle.com/pls/db92/db92.homepage and search C++, there is a document
    Pro*C/C++ Precompiler Getting Started for Windows (25 matching topics)
    if you click on PDF, there is a good guide to precompiler.
    Hi Sergio

    Oracle Pro*C/C++ Precompiler

    Thanks Sergio for the information. I was not able to find Proc.exe on my drives. Somehow, it did not get installed when I installed Oracle 9i. Have I missed any instruction while I was installing Oracle. Can someone help me as how I have to install or get Proc.exe?
    Thanks
