Unanswered: select own sort in a query/report

Is their any way in which I can select a sort in my access query?? what I have is a large customer database, which the query gets particular information from, I am inporting the information into my system, this has caused a problem with post codes, as this is what I need to sort by in order but ascending only gives me PL1 then PL11 PL12 PL13 etc, but I want PL1 PL2. Its all because the data I inport hasn't got a 0 before the number on the postcode, can I preselect an order anywhere, I am a relative beginner to most of you boys, but learning all the time, help would be most appreciated!!

Wink can yo put your SQL here

Do you see, if you say Desing on your query, the option "SQL VIEW"

    there are 3 options :
    Desing view
    SQL view
    and Datasheet view

click SQL view and paste the result here
