Unanswered: lookup tables with 2 fields

Ok..I am not sure if this can be done.

I have one form and 2 tables. Table 1 is for storing data and table 2 is a lookup table with 2 fields. - vendor code and price. I made a combo box lookup vendor code from table 2 and store the code in the appropriate place in table 1. I also need it to bring price over to table 1 as well on the lookup. I have been trying to figure this out. The lookup binds the selected vendor code to table one, but I cannot get it to bind the corresponding price as well. Any help would be great..is this a VB solution?

    Hey

Vendor code and price are in the same table. Each vendor code represents a product and each product has a price - thus each vendor code is unique (not the key btw) and has a price associated with it. This table has two fields, vendor code and price

    I hope this helps

Im not sure if i understand the question, are you wanting both vendor code and price to be visible in the lookup list?

In designview of your table(the one with the lookup column), look up tab and change the column count to 2.

I hope thats what you after!!........

    good luck
