    Unanswered: How do you email with Groupwise

    Hi, I can't seem to find any information on emailling from within an Access D/b using Groupwise. If you could point me in the right direction - a website I should look at maybe, that would be great, thanks.

    you may already have received your information but I just saw your request while searching for something else:
    Here's some groupwise code that worked for me:
    "**********
    Dim objGroupwise As Object, objAccount As Object, objMailbox As Object
    Dim objMessage As Object, objMessages As Object, objRecipients As Object
    Dim objRecipient As Object, MessageSent As Variant
    Dim strMessage As String
    Dim strEmailAddr As String

    Set objGroupwise = CreateObject("NovellGroupWareSession")
    Set objAccount = objGroupwise.login
    Set objMailbox = objAccount.Mailbox
    Set objMessages = objMailbox.Messages
    strEmailAddr = "emailaddress@somecompany.com"
    strMessage = " Here is what I wanted to tell you."

    'Place this portion in the execution
    Set objMessage = objMessages.Add("GW.MESSAGE.MAIL", "Draft")
    Set objRecipients = objMessage.Recipients
    Set objRecipient = objRecipients.Add(strEmailAddr)
    objMessage.Subject = "TEST EMAIL"
    objMessage.BodyText = strMessage
    objMessage.Send
