    Unanswered: Windows NT Password

    Hello,

I want to know if there is a function to check the password from Win2k or Win NT using the SQL Server? I have a problem on how to control the user Account from Win NT or Win2K everytime the user will logon to my application.

    Appreciate for your help.

    Regards.
    Greg

There is no control for the password once the user log on. I need to counter check if they input correct or incorrect password.

But if you use windows authentification for your connection, you do not need to worry about the password... Once they have logged into the domain with userid 'abc' and password 'def', then if your application is using windows authentification and your sql server is setup to allow that user access, you do not need to validate the password.
