    Unanswered: run form problem

I have oracle 9i I installed the server and the client. I have created a database and a form.

The question when I want to run the form it gives an error message saying start listener or check your runtime preferences.

    please tell the solution.

    9i is indeterminate.
What is the actual & specific version of Oracle?
No OS named & no OS version specified.
Are we supposed to guess at these details?
Do you think the solution might depend upon
which Oracle & OS versions you are using?
    >I have created a database and a form.
    Congratulations (I guess).
What did you use to "create a form"?

    >The question when I want to run the form it gives an error message >saying start listener or check your runtime preferences.
Once again it appears you expect us to guess what the actual error message really is.
EXACTLY what are you doing "to run the form"?
Is this a client/server environment or webforms?

    >please tell the solution.
You provided no useful details so I won't bother guessing a solution.

    thanks for you reply.

it is 9i release 2 on windows 2000 server for server and win2000 prof for client.

And to develop the form I have used developer 2000

    and it is client/server environment.
