Unanswered: Can C# be used inside Access?

I was wondering if it's possible to use C# in MS Access. I'm not talking about opening and manipulating a database from .NET, but rather from directly inside access e.g. setting an event handler to a control. Currently it seems that Access only supports VB, but I'm curious as to whether it will support C# in the future or if there are any add-ons that will enable this.

Complie your C routines into a DLL and call them as you would do with API functions
