    Unanswered: plan_table

    I have a table called plan_table in my Oracle database that was created last week. How was this table created? There are 2 rows of data in the table. These are the columns :
    STATEMENT_ID
    TIMESTAMP
    REMARKS
    OPERATION
    OPTIONS
    OBJECT_NODE
    OBJECT_OWNER
    OBJECT_NAME
    OBJECT_INSTANCE
    OBJECT_TYPE
    OPTIMIZER
    SEARCH_COLUMNS
    ID
    PARENT_ID
    POSITION
    COST
    CARDINALITY
    BYTES
    OTHER_TAG
    PARTITION_START
    PARTITION_STOP
    PARTITION_ID
    OTHER

    It was probably created from the script ... utlxplan.sql
    which in normally found in the oracle_home\rdbms\admin
    directory ... It is used for explain plans ...
