    Unanswered: accessing controls on one form from another form

    Hello,

    I need to access the controls on one form from another form. i am using

    forms!formnam!control name. but i am getting the error

    "Microsoft access cannot find the form referred to in macro or visual basic code"

    I tried using forms.formname.controlname. i could not do. please help me

    It functions, but the form frmrough mut be open in order to be able to access its controls.

    And....if you don't want the form to be seen (for whatever reason) you can open the form like:

    Code:
      DoCmd.OpenForm "frmrough", , , , , acHidden
    then to view it after your changes:

    Code:
      DoCmd.OpenForm "frmrough"
