    File conversion: DBF to MSSQL

Can anyone recommend a tool to this conversion?

    Thanks.

Try importing your dbf files into MSAccess, and exporting these tables to MSSQL. If that doesn't work, create CSV (comma separated variable) files from each dbf, and import them into MSSQL. Then build your MSSQL indexes.

Thanks vududoc. I may have an easier approach by installing an ODBC driver that's available for the source DB program (Advantage) on my SQL server and importing directly into SQL, but I appreciate your suggestion.

give DTS a shot. If you're running SQL Server, you've got DTS.
