ora-600 error msg may be serious errors in the rdbms kernel sw.
In unresolveable cases oracle asks the customers to open an itar on metalink

You need to create a table called "_default_auditing_options_" again

Will I get support for Oracle Personal? I don't understand what you meant about creating the table. Is this part of the solution? Do you know how this problem came about? Can I just reinstall my Oracle? I am the only one using it.
    Thanks.

    Thumbs up

    HI,

This error is indicating that the most recent version of the block is NOT on disk. During media recovery it was expecting an specific SCN but found that the block itself has a different SCN so recovery was stuck.

Check the ORA-600 3020 trace file to identify the Redo SCN, the SCN expected on block and the SCN on buffer.
    SATHISH .
