    Unanswered: Extra Switchboard options In Access

    How to you add more options on a switchboard in Access I have 13 options that I want to make available but I can only get 8 options on the switchboard how do I add the extra options?

    Through the Switchboard Manager......you can't. You are allowed only 8 items on any switchboard page. You can however make your own switchboard manager to control data within the 'Switchboard Items' table
    and then modify the HandleButtonClick function (located withing the switchboard code module) to accomodate your additional items.

    For a start, try using the Form Wizard and create a form using the Switchboard Items table as the record Source. Be sure to select all items in the table when the wizard asks you what fields you want in you r form. Play with it......

    You can edit the switchboard table directly and that will add an item or item to the switchboard.
