Question Unanswered: Migration from Sybase 11.0.3 to 12.5

    Hi

While migration from Sybase 11.0.3 to 12.5

Presently Sybase 11.0.3 is on windows NT

    1. Is it better to go for an upgrade or a new installation of sybase 12.5 and move the data into it

    2. Sybase gives a systemprocedure sp_checkreswords for checking if any reserved words are used. I have one of the systems running in Sybase 12.5 and another in 11.0.3 (in different servers ).Is there anyway i can use the system procedure to check whether any reserved words are used in the database on 11.0.3.

    3. Is there any consolidated set of information on what are the changes needed to stored procedures while doing a migration from 11.0.3 to 12.5

    4. What are the changes that might be required if we change the OS of the server from win nt to win 2000

    Thanks

According with the doc, the older supported version seems to be 11.5
